“The service provided by Julie Denning has been without doubt the best thing I decided to do during my cancer surgery and treatment.”
“Gave me support when I needed it, couldn’t have done it on my own, Fantastic team!”
“I thought the service was invaluable, at first I wasn’t sure if I would want to speak to someone on a regular basis, but I found I looked forward to the meetings and talking through my situation, it was a real benefit, particularly planning my return to work and building up my hours to full time at a pace that suited me”
“Regular contact helped me with my return to work. I really felt I was being listened to, appropriate support was offered when needed, which helped increase my self confidence. A very professional and caring service. Thank you.”
“Life was hard when I returned to work. Everyday was an enormous challenge both physically and mentally. It was exhausting and it was good to have someone professional who was caring and understanding who could help me”
Throughout this year we have been working with Arthritis Research UK to offer their staff a wellbeing service.
Collaborating with Working Towards Wellbeing continues to be an absolute pleasure. The feedback we have had from our patients that have been supported by them is fantastic and the wealth of expertise and empathy from the team is clear. We look forward to continuing to work closely with them as we look to develop the services we can offer together.

We have found Julie Denning and her team to be extremely thorough and professional at all times, the support given to those members we refer to their Cancer Work Support Service has always been positively received and it has contributed to our effective claims management process
Darren Michel – Assistant Claims Manager – Generali Employee Benefits. January 2018
I recently worked with Dr Julie Denning on a review of both our HR policy and support for employees experiencing short and long term sickness absence. We wanted to change our culture and mindset towards sickness, focusing on inclusivity, being more proactive than reactive, but also working to provide the right outcome for the individual. Julie provided us with a refreshing view of effectively managing absence, with the employee experience being the key to having open conversations, ultimately enabling us to provide solutions that work for both the employee and the business to achieve a return to work. I thoroughly enjoyed working with Julie and would recommend her services to both employees and businesses.
Employee Relations Manager – Major Financial Services Organisation – March 2018
Julie provided an insightful session at the University of Leicester Health & Wellbeing day for research postgraduates. She provided participants with valuable awareness of how they can develop strategies to meet the stress related challenges of their daily lives. Her ability to relate empathetically to the group was admirable.
