Cancer recovery and a personalised exercise service: A preliminary analysis

Working Towards Wellbeing has been accepted to present research at national physiotherapy conference about their cancer recovery service:

Working Towards Wellbeing has been accepted to present at the national physiotherapy conference, Physiotherapy UK 2017 – a scientific conference for physiotherapy staff hosted by the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.

The initiative will make it easier for people with expertise in how to make health and care better from all the different organisations and patient groups to share ideas, enhance skills and collaborate.

Physiotherapy UK brings together physiotherapy staff and those interested in physiotherapy from across the UK – including those at the frontline of care, managers, researchers, educators, private practitioners and more.

By bringing together such a broad range of professionals working across the physiotherapy community, Physiotherapy UK is able to provide a vibrant source of innovation, networking, problem solving and continued professional development.

CSP Chief Executive Prof Karen Middleton CBE states  “We are delighted to have such a breadth of peer-reviewed content generated for Physiotherapy UK by our talented CSP members. We’ve seen abstracts submitted from NHS services, private practice, education and the research community. “Physiotherapy UK is a great opportunity for the physiotherapy community to share innovation and, more than that, network with others who have had experiences similar to their own. “Some will be ahead of the game, some maybe behind the game. The key thing is, as a united profession, to share these experiences to ensure we don’t sleep walk into oblivion. I look forward to seeing you in Birmingham.”

There is still time for others to experience Physiotherapy UK 2017, for more information, speak to Carol or visit the conference website.
